I opened this week's show with a cover of Iggy Pop’s Sick of You by one of the best kept secrets of the Colombian music scene, Lucrecia Dalt – a very talented multi-instrumentalist who creates a powerful blend of indie folk and smooth electronica by using a finely tuned setup of of guitar, bass, voice, programmed beats and other details that range from floor toms and kitchen chairs to seagulls to create beautifully strange harmonies that never sounds cluttered.

Now based in Barcelona, she appears to be working with a bunch of other interesting artists such as German Electronic composer FS Blumm with whom she teamed up on for the the “Sick of You” cover which is just one of a bunch of interesting covers those chose to do together on her new EP titled “Cuatro Covers

You really need to experience her music live to appreciate her talent.  Check out this really cool video of Dalt's live recording session of Ceniza
